Abbey of St Edmund Carving

A wood carving of The Abbey of St Edmund was commissioned by the Bury Society and a new video has been released to show the process of carving and explain some of the history around it.

Martyn Taylor, Chairman of the Bury Society, said:

“We are delighted with the carving of the abbey carried out by Clint Rose.  Our thanks to Clint for carving his interpretation of the abbey based upon the evidence we now have. We also wish to acknowledge Patrick Chung and the Town Council for enabling this project to proceed.”

Clint Rose, of Clint Rose Carving said:

“I was fortunate enough to be asked to create a large carving of The Abbey of St Edmund by The Bury Society . I made a video showing the carving and describing some of the history of the Abbey in an 11 minute long story telling journey. I hope you enjoy it!”
