At present, the Bury Society informs its members of its work and other relevant issues through its newsletter, produced three times a year by volunteers. The editor is Susan Sollohub. The newsletter reflects the Society’s concerns on current issues facing the town. Contributions are welcome from anybody.
Each issue usually has reports on current campaigns, planning applications of note, and articles of interest to members. There is also a report by our Chairman, Sarah Green, and a diary of events,
Copies of the newsletter are sent, automatically, to members.
The issue for Summer 2009 includes: our new Chairman’s report; Planning Officer’s report; ”The arc - a very personal view”, a very insightful article on the Cattle Market development as well as the “Mixed feelings” of Past President Peter Plumridge, are among the many varied items.
