Boundary Committee

The Society has made its submission to the Boundary Committee during the consultation phase. Click on this link to read the letter sent by your Committee.

The Bury St Edmunds Society was formed in 1971 by a group of people concerned about the town and its future. That concern was prompted by a proposal to tear down St John’s Street and redevelop the area in modern style.

Our aim is to ensure that , whilst Bury St Edmunds continues to grow and prosper, it remains a beautiful town in which to live, work or visit.

Browse our Web site, particularly the News and Diary sections, for more information about The Bury Society (as it is more familiarly known), our activities, and how you can be involved.

If you have any questions, please contact us by e-mail at: info@burysociety.com.
